The 95th Yearly Academy Grants occurred at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles this evening and saw all our #1 stars hold nothing back. While the current year’s honors were relatively quelled, when it came to honorary pathways Hollywood’s greatest night didn’t disappoint.
From Lady Gaga in Versace to Florence Pugh in Valentino, directly from the runway was a thing this year. Also, we are hanging around for it.
Across the champagne carpet, sheer is in, pink is as yet serious areas of strength for going stars were sparkling.
1. Rihanna
In obvious RiRi style, Rihanna made an appearance at the Oscars in a baseball shirt and pail cap before getting an honorary pathway prepared in uniquely crafted Alaia. You might recognize this one from the Alaia AW 2023 runway…just add a knock.
2. Cate Blanchett
We love sustainable design, and this documented Louis Vuitton appears as though it was made for Cate Blanchett, to such an extent we want to believe that she wears it again. Adding a blue lace to show support for #WithRefugees.
3. Cara Delevingne
Indeed, yes, and yes again. We are loving everything about this look, from the thigh-high split (that is a lot of giving Angelina Jolie) to the precious stone gems. This was the right year to have a champagne carpet because Delevingne is stealing the show.
4. Florence Pugh
Only a short while ago Pugh told the group at London Style Week, “The specialty of dressing up permits us to communicate who we genuinely are,” and this look does precisely that.
5. Lady Gaga
For the 95th Yearly Academy Grants, Gaga picked a drop midsection, a figure-hugging sheer outfit from the Versace Harvest time/Winter 2023 collection — under five days after Gigi Hadid took to the runway. Somewhere else, Winnie Harlow in Armani Prive and Sabrina Elba in dynamic Richard Quinn.
6. Zoe Saldana
Zoe Saldana in Fendi with vintage Cartier adornments is the ideal combination for the Oscars honorary pathway.
7. Alison Williams
Arguably the best-dressed man of 2023, Mescal simply continues to look endlessly better. Our OG Instagram crush (recollect Connell’s chain?) wore a Gucci look and Cartier gems and was styled by English beautician, Felicity Kay,
8. Paul Mescal
Arguably the best-dressed man of 2023, Mescal simply continues to look endlessly better. Our OG Instagram crush (recollect Connell’s chain?) wore a Gucci look and Cartier gems and was styled by English beautician, Felicity Kay,
9. Salma Hayek
Our cover star, Salma Hayek may not be nominated for the honor this evening, however, she wins for this outfit.
10. Fan Bingbing
Shimmer was one of the greatest patterns at the Oscars this evening and Bingbing overflows charm and glamor in Tony Ward’s couture.
