A Close Encounter with Migaloo – the Sole White Humpback Whale Worldwide

Mother Nature is amazing in such countless ways, and the rarest its beautiful creations are, the seriously fascinating it becomes. It’s also the case of this incredibly rare white humpback whale. Many of us don’t have the foggiest idea that those animals even exist. So imagine how fortunate you should feel to see it with your eyes. That’s once in a lifetime experience.

The huge mammalian also known as Migaloo may be the world’s most popular animal. Since his first spot in 1991 by the Pacific Whale Foundation, he earned a legendary reputation. As of late the rare animal was spotted again off the Australian coast, near Sydney. “We got incredibly fortunate and Migaloo come up only a couple of feet close to our boat,” Jonas Liebschner of Whale Watching Sydney said. “What a sight that was!”

Migaloo got its name after the Aboriginal word for ‘white man’ and he gained notoriety as one of only not very many cold whales known to humankind. However, that far isn’t known exactly the reason for his extraordinary variety for a humpback whale. The specialists think it very well may be either leucism or his actual albino. That means he is unable to create pigmentation at all. The animal is estimated to be 31 years old. He can satisfy 80 year-old according to Oskar Peterson, who runs the Australian-based White Whale Research Center.
